Daigger Hot Plates, Stirrers and Stirring Hot Plates

Feature a hot symbol warning light that remains illuminated when heat is turned on – light remains on until top plate cools down. Cool touch housing is constructed of a heat resistant polymer that is not only cool to the touch, but also chemically resistant. Units with stirring capability feature a powerful, continuous duty motor and magnet that deliver dependable and reliable stirring.

Microprocessor control regulates both heating and stirring functions. Samples are heated to selected temperature quickly and accurately. Speed is precisely controlled and provides consistent stirring at all speeds. Ramping feature slowly increases speed to avoid splashing, improves magnetic coupling and provides excellent low speed control.

Ceramic top plates feature a chemically resistant, reflective white surface that is easy to clean. Low-profile design takes up less space and fits into fume hoods. Spill resistant housing channels fluids away from internal components. Front panel features easy-to-use control knobs to dial in temperature and speed. Rear housing has a built-in support rod holder with locking knob.

All heating models have a 3-digit LED display that shows set point temperature. Built-in memory allows users to recall last set temperature even when unit has been turned off. Stir protection automatically shuts down heater if motor fails, and unit shuts off if set temperature is exceeded by 10° C.

All units include a detachable, 92” , 3-wire cord and plug ( 230V units are supplied with European type plug) and a PTFE-coated stir bar. UL-and cUL-listed, ( 230V units are CE-marked) . Aluminum top-plate models are also available, please contact your Daigger sales representative.
